The Emerald city- Seattle ’s major attractions lies not only in the awesome views from the top of the Space Needle but also surrounding natural landscape. The 185 meter high Needle, made by E.E.Carlson is housed in the Seattle Centre on 5 th Avenue and Broad St .

Surrounded by water and mountains, Seattle is ideal to stroll around and watching ships on the nearby islands. The waterfront and the Pike Place Market are famous tourist destination with quirky shops (located directly under the market), famous fish throwers and fresh produce.

An exploration of downtown historic district and surrounding neighborhoods offer a marvelous range of arts, cultural and sporting events and attractions and an abundance of shops and restaurants.

Museums such as; Seattle Asian Art Museum, Seattle art Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park, the Museum of Flight, Henry or fine Art Gallery, Wing Luke Asian Museum, the Museum of History and Industry and Myriad art galleries are a lust for the eye. While the visual art lovers are suggested not to miss a chance to see the Seattle Opera House, the Pacific Theatres, Northwest Ballet or fringe films at the Egyptian in Capitol Hill and the Grand Illusion in the University District.

Visitors can enjoy breath taking panoramic views of the mountain oceans and the city from the high bluffs at the vast 535 acres park in Seattle called The Discovery Park. The park landscape consists of a wide range of ecosystem, including old growth forests, rugged sea buffs, prairies and seashore.

Near the rainy season, Snoqualmie Falls is quite enchanting. For a good meal and evening, nearby Salish Lodge is advised that overlooks the falls. It takes 2 hour drive north from Seattle to visit Vancouver in Canada.
